COVID-19 Precautions in Place:

We thank you for your support and sincerely appreciate your business. I would like to take this opportunity to personally advise you of all that we are doing at The Old Courthouse Inn to alleviate your concerns about the safety of staying with us at this uncertain time. We have asked our various departments to implement increased and stricter cleaning of guest rooms and public areas as well as food-handling areas.

Some of our procedures:

- Social distancing measures are in place within our Hotel

- Hand sanitizer dispensers are available throughout our Hotel and Food service areas

- For your safety, all staff entering the hotel for work, must have their temperature checked. As per Covid-19 safety regulations as outlined by WorkSafe BC, no person with a forehead temperature of higher than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (37.8 Celsius) will be allowed into the hotel. Importantly, if the associate has flu-like symptoms, they are advised to consult a physician and seek medical care.

- The hotel has raised the level of sanitizing attention in guestrooms and Housekeeping staff will not enter an occupied Guestroom to tidy up or restock. If you require additional amenities, Put up your make up room door tag. Guests staying multiple nights can place garbage and recycling outside your door and housekeeping will be happy to empty your bins from 10am-3pm

- We have enhanced our cleaning techniques used when cleaning guest rooms after each stay. We are paying particular attention to high touch point areas, to include keys, door handles, locks, and latches, light switches, desk surfaces, television remote controls and bathroom fixture handles.

Food & Beverage Services are available as follows:

Edie Rae's Cafe Breakfast options available from 9am-1pm Tuesday - Sunday, Closed Mondays

Patio - weather permitting

- Social distancing practices are in place – when unable to distance, servers will be wearing masks

- Constant sanitizing of tables and areas as well as high touch surfaces

- Name and phone contact of one person at every table is required

We are constantly monitoring the information that is being provided by the Provincial Health and the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention. Our focus is to make sure that our guests' and our associates' needs are met while we do our part to mitigate any potential spread.

If you find that you are feeling unwell while you are here and symptoms develop while travelling, self-

isolate immediately and contact 8-1-1 for guidance and testing. Please do not leave your room until you have made arrangements to vacate safely and please notify our desk staff so we can isolate your room accordingly. (Powell River General Hospital 604-485-3211)

Remember, when you are with us, this is regarded as your home away from home. We will do everything that we can to make sure you are comfortable. We want to reassure you that we are taking all possible precautions to promote a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
